Yeah, the dude looks great. His voice is still great, too. How about Billy Joel? Any good?

Sting or Joel? I'd be surprised by either, but I guess it's now become the norm.

I'll add more details as time permits.

They say chronic dope use increases the incidence of mental illness by 5x. It also increases the likelihood of premature cognitive decline.

This BJ Sting concert review wasn't supposed to get traction. I put no work into it.
I did put work into my Film School review.
As you can see:
electriceye.freeforums.net/thread/2548/school-dotti-whistle-diego-south
But the response was tepid.
What have we learned?
What?
What have we learned?
People aren't interested in reviews of bands they don't know, and nobody knows Film School but this guy, OB.
To wit, OB hasn't clicked on *ech*'s Cymande review. But *ech* reviews a lot more shows than OB, and *ech* doesn't include a tranny report which has become an OB staple ever since the Dying Fetus show where OB witnessed trannies hanging from the rafters of the HOB.
OB didn't include a tranny report in this BJ Sting review (not yet at least), and people are reading the review anyway because it says "Billy Joel" and "Sting" in the subject.

Watched the special Billy Joel 100th at MSG friday night, pretty good show but they pretty much cut all of my fave, when's the last time he played Tell her About it live he must really hate that song, he only had 3 #1 hits in his career, its by far the best of the 3 and he never plays it

Even Billy Joel and The Hassles. Tell Her About It is a top 5 worst song in his catalog.

I checked out the set list: www.setlist.fm/setlist/billy-joel/2024/petco-park-san-diego-ca-1bab914c.htmlPretty solid, hits-heavy. The Start Me Up cover was questionable; if he wanted to rock, I would've preferred A Matter of Trust. And Sometimes a Fantasy was a pleasant surprise. My two favorite Billy Joel songs were missing - Pressure and All For Leyna. But Pressure is probably tricky to pull off live and Leyna would be considered a deep cut. Sting's set list surprised me in that it was so Police-heavy. He did achieve a high level of success as a solo artist; but I guess in an stadium setting, it's best to play the hits. www.setlist.fm/setlist/sting/2024/petco-park-san-diego-ca-13ab9141.htmlNo All This Time, but it, too, must be tricky live, especially the vocal. My biggest takeaway was a positive - 'Crat referring to that picture of Sting as "ripped." I know bodybuilder guys who would say he has noodle arms, but he's very fit; just not bulky.
