This was kinda a repeat of the Godsmack/Staind/Systematic/Cold tour in 2001.
2 bands from Boston or some shit.
I think some dates have I Prevail on this tour but not this one.
This thing is damn near a co-headlinin' tour. Big crowd. Had a lawn ticket but wanted to sit down. I ended up swiping a lawn chair that was abandoned at the edge of the lawn.
Staind - Lotta crazy lights, they had a full headlining stage with big screens all over. Setlist had more slower tunes than the last time I saw 'em. Still were loud and heavy and Mike Mushok rocks out the whole time. Played a lotta deep cuts. Lewis is an ugly fucker but has a powerful voice. On the last line of It's Been Awhile, he said "Fuck it, I aint sorry!" Played a solid hour and 20 minutes. Crowd was into it. They are awesome on the big stage.
Godsmack - No big screens, had big backdrop with the new album cover on it I think. Had a bunch of pyro and confetti. Came out swinging on the first 3 tunes. They left out a few staples (even Keep Away) to make room for the songs from the last 2 records. Voodoo was great. Sully has great energy but he sometimes talks too much. Did the double drum solo with the drummer and it was awesome. Played piano on one of the newer songs too. Played 90 minutes.
Both bands were sellin' cool shirts. Had one of these strawberry vodka drinks. $22. What the fuck.

No. He said he was getting ready for Ghost. Burning candles and incense and shit. He does these weird rituals or some shit before Ghost comes.
Almost flipped off a black dude who was tryin' to harrass me. But was in a rush to get to the concert.
