Caught Clutch in San Antonio last night. They were in top form as they always are. They broke out a couple obscure and seldom played songs (Escape From The Prison Planet, Oregon, Son Of Virginia, Dragonfly.) along with a bunch of songs of the latest album. Since they change the setlist every night you never really know what you're going to get other than a kick ass rock and roll show. They've been my favorite band for about 20 years and this was my eleventh show and other than one where the energy was off, they've always delivered and last night was no exception.

Should I visit San Antonio or Austin? My Dad's from San Antonio. But I haven't been there in 40 years. Austin seems fun. But we'll probably be in be around midnight. No 2 am shit for us. Wife and all.

Honestly, I only moved to San Antonio six weeks ago and am still getting familiar with the area and haven't made it to Austin yet so I'm not really qualified to answer. There's probably more cool places to visit in Austin, but from what I've seen, there's plenty of cool stuff here in San Antonio too like a zoo and a Six Flags. I've been focused on finding a job (which just happened yesterday) and the best pool halls and bookstores to really pay attention to much else.

Excellent review. Keep it up!!! They were just here at a nice big venue but didn't make it to the fuckin thing.
