I can't say that I'm a fan of Madonna's... In fact, although I do enjoy some of her hits, I mostly dislike her output. But, she's a "legend" I'm told, so I asked LiveNation for an invite and off I went to the Paris Accor Arena, a venue I'd visited 56 times before! In short, the concert was... not a concert. It was mostly lip-syncing from start to finish, with no live band and just dancers in various states of undress prancing around a stage like an episode of Drag Race. A more detailed and somewhat diplomatic review can be found HERE.

So they gave you a photo pass so you could take pictures that they don't want published? How very Madonna...

Though not unusual today, the no-live-band is a deal breaker for me. The spectacle is the draw, not the music.
Even the U2 show at the Sphere; the band is almost superfluous.
Madonna used to bring a solid band with her, even in her early days. That's session ace Paul Pesco on lead guitar.

They gave me a bunch of pre-approved photos taken on the first date of the tour in London to use, and said if you take some pics with your phone you can them on your personal socials but not on your Electric Eye ones...

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH... They gave me a bunch of pre-approved photos taken on the first date of the tour in London to use, and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH... No close-ups... How odd. You get any for your... socials? How bad did she look? Like an aged Madonna or an aged Iguana?

- The KnäveNo, the ones I published here are mine... I don't know what the official ones look like, they might have close-ups for all I know but I'm not using them. From where I was, she looked great. Like a 65 year-old Madonna. Of course, it's all fake (we've all seen what she looks like in real life) and it's all surgeries and fillers and prosthetics and make-up and girdles and all that... That's what it takes to create the cartoon character up on that stage. The results speak for themselves.
