It's been well-documented what rough shape Robben Crosby was in at this time. And this show was merely weeks before Nirvana's album came out.
Ratt were definitely no longer glamming it up. DeMartini in jeans, no shirt, and puffing cigarettes was very Slash-like.
They played the first part of the show as a 4 piece, when Schenker appears during the solo to Round and Round (49:15). Schenker takes the outro solo, which is excellent, though somewhat hard to hear.
Schenker and DeMartini cut heads on Way Cool Jr. (1:02:25), which is after get this - a piano solo. Ratt were seemingly attempting to diversity their sound.
Because of the close proximity of the one filming, the sound is sub-par. But these are perhaps the best close-up shots of Warren DeMartini, who was on fire this night.
I don't recall if Schenker was only subbing for Crosby or if the intention was to soldier on with him as a new member, before grunge crashed the party.
But this iteration of Ratt would've been formidable, with lots of guitar talent.

It's hard to hear since the sound is so distorted, but I'll see if I can find it. He does an extended keyboard solo before the guitar duel during Way Cool Jr. Probably around the 1:00:00 mark. That's what's interesting about this. The VH1 Behind the Music on Ratt portrayed them as running on fumes at this point. But they were playing really well, and possibly attempting to reinvent themselves.

Their Unplugged with MS was good too, but it was too little, too late. Detonator was the album they needed to make in 1988, not 1990, and it had long since disappeared from the charts by fall '91. This was their/Schenkers management trying to save 2 doomed bands.

Yes, and I forgot the ill-conceived Contraband, with Blotzer, Schenker, and Tracii Guns, who also showed up at the end of the Ratt video.
The crash and burn happened gradually.

Michael was on record as saying that the Ratt dudes were the most dysfunctional lot he'd ever been around and couldn't wait to move on...
