Dead Daisies. Heard it's a good supergroup that used to have Corabi. Then was told the day before that Dino Whitesnake was gonna sub for Glenn-ass Hughes. That's right, that Euro dude that the CEO fawned over. Missed EZN and got there 5 minutes after Daisies started. Walked to my seat and who comes into focus? Fucking Doug Aldrich. Havent seen him play in maybe 15 years or some shit. Brian Tichy is a monster on drums, he's like a pretty-boy version of Tommy Aldridge. David Lowy, never heard of him, they said he was from down-under, didnt know this band had a dude from Australia. Dino Whitesnake came in from Europe to sub for Glenn. Great pipes. Dude doesnt really have a European accent, he seemed more American to me. Great gritty rock n roll by some good-ass players. Thay played 90 minutes. I met Chip Z'Nuff after. He signed my ticket, and reached into his pocket and pulled out a EZN sticker that he plastered on my ticket too. True rock n' roller. Was selling much more CDs & merch than Daisies were. Told me about some radio show he does. www.dashradio.com or some shit. Check it out. T-shirts were $25. Check this show out when it comes to ur town!

Thanks for the review! Dead Daisies are a weird band with a revolving door of musicians, and that Australian dude is the founder of the band. He's the heir to a real estate and private investment company, and the band is what he does with his millions. They've had some great players in the band, because Lowy can afford to pay them what they're worth... I saw them twice, back when they had a different incarnation. In 2015, opening for KISS, when they had Frank Ferrer, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Marco Mendoza and Lowy I saw them again a year and a half later and Dizzy, Ferrer and Fortus had gone back to GN'R. Doug Aldrich was on guitar and Brian Tichy was on drums. Dead Daisies in Paris 2016I'd be kind of miffed to find out that Glennn Hughes wasn't there... I assume he is the big draw in that current version of the band. Did the Dino guy also play the bass like Glenn or was someone else there manning the low end?

They split Glenn into 2 dudes. Dino singin', and a bassist with hair down to his waste and a beard, who looked like Droopy. Dude didnt smile and looked like he belonged in Type-O Negative or some shit.
His name was Jimmy Jimmy. Yes, first name Jimmy, last name Jimmy.

Coverdale was much better in DP. I guess that one Sabbath was decent.
