Another excellent gig. Nick Mason and his band (featuring Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet) played a two hour-plus show in Paris, showcasing material from the early Pink Floyd albums and singles. All the early calssics as well as some pretty deep cuts. Check it out HERE

Box is a weird term for pussy but I guess I can see where it comes from. I mean, you can put things in a box, like you can put things in a vagina. So why not? Still, I find it weird and I don't think I'm alone.

Ha! I somehow knew you'd be going... I had it pencilled in on my calendar, but just didn't recognise half the setlist songs. And no way that could beat that Ki$$ show I just saw!
I might go to the Dark Star Orchestra Olympia show in September though...

Oh man, the setlist was the best part.
What does the Dark Star Orchestra do, exactly? Do they play the studio versions? Do they play live versions note for note? Or do they improvise in the manner of Grateful Dead?

I think they try to reproduce the live Dead experience; different setlists and probably not note-for-note. I haven't really watched any videos, but if I can score a ticket that day I'll probably go.
Damn, Jerry Cantrell also played last night, Paris is full of shows these days. I'm guessing you're playing lots of Maiden at home this week in preparation for the Sunday show! I'm planning on heading to Rambouillet Saturday as it's FĂȘte de la Music there...but it might be rained out, who knows... might be something to consider if you're free Saturday.

If you liked The Dead live, go see them. But do drugs first.
