You're allowed to talk about them in this thread. Feel free to ask questions about them.
You can ask me which member of PBF i've been in multiple bands with (hint: it's a classic member, not a scab) You can ask me about when Krunchy Krunch Majors falsely got me a copyright strike on youtube You can ask who the most recent member I've shared a bill with was. You can ask me my thoughts on their debut (and i'm assuming only?) record. ¥ou can ask me how I was patient zero in the "mention them again and you'll be banned" time in Sludge.
You can ask others stuff about them too. It's not all about me.

Me?
I saw Pretty Boy Floyd at Hair Nation Fest in 2016. I was high on drugs and alcohol. I got good placement in front of the stage for the LA Guns reunion up next.

What started the whole issue with mentioning them on that board?

I would like answers to all of the above. Thanks Same here. C'mon Ron Don't be a Crat. Ok. I'll start with when Kristy unfairly gave my channel a copyright strike.
I'll preface this bymentioning when Kruncy Krunch Majors had a band called Kristy Majors and the Thrill Kills. He put out the record and gave an interview. The interviewer asked "so did you write all the songs?" and he said something like "yeah, im the singer, songwriter, guitarist, bottle washer. it's a lot of work, but if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself".
Then it turned out he LIFTED THE ENTIRE ALBUM from a band called Suckerpunch from the 90s. Like he copied every single song. One Suckerpunch guy blasted it on socials. Kristy went apeshit, saying that some other Suckerpunch guy said he could use the songs (even if true, what kind of excuse is that?)
Of course, it was a big tpic at Sludge, and I made one of those "Hitler Meltdown" memes, with Hitler all happy that the Thrill Kills album was going to do so well, and his commanders telling him that the album was lifted from Suckerpunch and Hitler taking off his glasses and then screaming at all the generals on how Sucker punch was on a major label! and how did Kristy think he wasnt gonna get caught?
So it was on Sludge... well, Kirsty saw it, and filed a copyright claim, saying he owned the content, which is ridiculous, exactly what part did he own, the fact I put his name in subtitles? Fucking youtube sided with that dick, and i had a strike on my channel for 6 months. Obcviously my channel is mostly cover songs, and never once have I had a problem. But Krunchy abused the system and im still torqued about it. I wish I still had that hitler clip cause it was funny. I even namedropped La Glam Rocker.

What started the whole issue with mentioning them on that board? I'm glad you asked. I will answer this when i get around to telling the story of how I was patient zero of that happening. I cannot fully say if this Thrill Kills thing is the sole reason, but it is a reason.
Also - I believe that Stevil's insistence that they not be named, is not due to a whim or desire on his part, but due to a legal ruling or threat that states they MUST NOT BE NAMED. I will provide legal docs at a later date that a white shirt, if we have one, could review. Kristy has almost successfully scrubbed the 'net of people's reactions to his shameful deeds (prolly with the same underhanded tactics he used agaisnt me!) The fact that he has scrubbed the net of this info shows it is of utmost importance to him that this be forgotton, by duress if necessary.
but here is what the suckerpunch guy had to say: “ Sooo everybody, I came across this interview with Kristy Majors. You may know him from his time in the glam band Pretty Boy Floyd and most recently The Thrill Kills. In this recent interview, he talks about his new album by him, stating various times that he wrote the material on the album. How do I know this… after fronting the band Swingin' Thing from 1989-1994, I was the singer for a band called Suckerpunch out of Los Angeles between 1995-1997. We recorded an album on an independent label called 510 Records which was distributed by MCA Records. It was a great record that will forever be a part of me and I am very proud of it. Every song from the Suckerpunch recording appears on Kristy Majors new album. It is a direct COPY of our material. He has even taken the liberty to change the titles on a couple of the tracks, most notably “Hand Over Fist” which he now calls “Broken Lip” and “Why Bother” which he now calls “Over and Over Again ”.

That's insane. How does one get away with something like that? The album was out, the songs copyrighted, published, etc. That dude should have been sued into poverty. Maybe he has? And I remember that KISS debacle. It's still hilarious.

Yes. Could you read that and tell us blue shirts what it says? It seems to not be mainly about Stevie, but references Sludge and the thrill kills quite a bit.

Yes. Could you read that and tell us blue shirts what it says? It seems to not be mainly about Stevie, but references Sludge and the thrill kills quite a bit. I don't know that much about defamation law, but there's something called anti-slapp that is typically filed by somebody sued for defamation. As I understand it, we have those anti-slapp motions to protect free speech and to protect against over-zealous plaintiffs with big pockets trying to mussel people with defamation suits. So, if you're a defendant, you file an anti-slapp out of the gate and hope to get the suit knocked out before the legal fees get too expensive.
Skimming this (I haven't read the whole thing; it's boring and procedural), it looks like the trial court upheld the defendant's anti-slapp motion. Maggiore, who I assume is Majors, appealed and won the appeal - that's what this document is - it's the ruling from the appellate court. That doesn't mean Maggiore won the defamation/libel case, only the appeal, meaning the Defendant lost the anti-slapp motion, so the defamation/libel case could proceed forward.
What does this tell us?
Like you said, Rachelle isn't the defendant/respondent in this case. Looks like somebody who provided information to Rachelle is the defendant, the owner of one Demon Doll Records.
But.
I'm amazed Majors would have the cash to bring a defamation case in the first place, much less have the money for an appeal. To what end? He's not Tom Cruise. I clerked for a defamation lawyer back in the day, and he said defamation is a rich man's game. It's expensive, and who's really watching?
Why is Rachelle so uppity about Pretty Boy Floyd? Seeing this, I do have a theory, I do.
I do, I do.
This is pure speculation.
If Majors had the money to sue this guy and the money to appeal the anti-slapp ruling, he probably had the money to sue Rachelle too. Rachelle likely settled. I would guess as a part of the settlement Rachelle agreed to wipe any mention of Majors or Pretty Boy Floyd from his site. I would further speculate that there was a confidentiality clause in the settlement.
So.
If my theory is correct, Rachelle had to wipe Pretty Boy Floyd from the site, and he could not say why.
