You'll need to change "bag of dope" to "vape cartridges". It's 2023 after all. Nobody actually still smokes pot plus I'll prolly pay my own way in like NOB cause I'm supportive like that...

Is this the MILF in the Maiden shirt you banged?
I do seem to remember Cantada II being in a not-so-great neighborhood. Huge absinthe selection, but the bartender bitch had an attitude and served it incorrectly.
The Jim Morrison plan... Were you born in America or France? If you were born in America, how and when did you learn to speak French? What is the timeline of when and where you lived? Are your parents French?
The NoblemanYucks! Nice Photoshop. No, she was mid-30s, long dark brown hair, I don't have a picture but remember her name was Sandra... Cantada II is in a pretty lively neighbourhood, but there's definitely worse areas in Paris. It's right by the Oberkampf street, which is riddled with bars and a pretty fun area. I miss Cantada II, back when they were doing concerts, that was our best paid gig in Paris. Born in the US, my mom's French, my dad was Spanish/Basque. Learned French and English pretty much at the same time, bilingual by 3 or 4, lived in California from 81 to 01 (interspersed with yearly extended vacations in France) and then moved to France in 01. Goddamn, now you know everything about me! Since this is an interrogation, here's what I did last night and where: had a pint at Ker Beer (breton bar in Montparnasse area) with a friend from San Diego here on a business trip and then I made dinner for my roommate at home! Mmm hmm... Mmm hmm... Mmm hmm...
I see...
You say you were born in the US and lived in California from '81. Can we assume that you were born in California in '81? If so, you moved to France when you were around 20. No?
Why did you move to France?
Didn't you say you lived in Pacific Beach for a bit?
Me?
I don't know how to make dinner, but I know how to order it on the internet.

Box is a weird term for pussy but I guess I can see where it comes from. I mean, you can put things in a box, like you can put things in a vagina. So why not? Still, I find it weird and I don't think I'm alone.

Yup, dates are right, but I moved to France at 21, in 2002... Moved there cuz all my life I prefered life in France, the food, the beaches, the beyatches (perhaps Metal Archives wouldn't have terminated your membership had you used this alternate spelling), the language, the culture, and I wasn't getting enough tail in California to justify staying there, I made the right move!
Lived in PB for a bit, briefly on Grand and then Garnett (fun times had a stoner roommate who had two boyfriends and a French roommate; my stoner roommate liked the French talk so much she moved to France for a few years)...good times, enjoyed skating up and down Garnett and the Mission Beatch boardwalk, and going down to TJ a lot...) If I ever move back to the US, I would probably go right back to PB, my cousin has a house there too. What part of SD are you in? How long in SD for?

You dont have to pay your own way, I get a flat guarantee and it will be packed either way. I think Nunya still buys buds.

I don't smoke nearly as often as our 2 resident dopeheads but I'll never vape. Smoking good bud is part of the experience. If all you want is the high then just swallow a bunch of gummies. I don't think 6 is 5 either.

''Bag of dope'' is now plastic canister of dope, like black pill bottles (Upper left in below photo). Remember the buds packed in a Kona Coffee can? Weed shop has a 20 gram sealed tin can of 'Maui Wowie' cola buds, 20 grams for $450. Buddy bought some, killer smoke.

I don't think 6 is 5 either. Good bud is great for pain, had allt the thc, cbd, terpenes, etc. Also, maybe I'm in the minority, but the taste is something i like also. Grape Ape, Dreamsicle, Blue Dream, etc. all taste killer.I seem to get higher on flower, but vapes are quick and easier. Also, vapes are easier on the go. Took a vape to Baseball games (Indy Indians, Fr Wayne Tincaps) and hockey Games (Komets). Love my gummies, 2x 10mg per day, morning and afternoon, kills pain better than any pill ever has, for me. I get the body high off gummies, not so much the mind buzz.

I smoked what they now call "flower" for 40 years. The advantages to vaping for me are mostly convenience related. No fire needed, no cleaning of bud or pipes/bongs etc..., no smell (which makes my wife very happy) much more inconspicuous, easier to sneak a toke when necessary. Also I find the high to be more intense and longer lasting. Now the only time I smoke bud is if I run out of cartridges. The biggest negative is disposing of the empty carts. FWIW at this point I'm leaning toward attending the event. The last 10 days have been super fucking crazy though so we'll have to see how things go...

I moved to San Diego in the mid 90's for school. We had a place in PB when my first little shit was born, but that's no place for a family. We moved to the burbs in north San Diego ASAP.
The bitch and I probably won't stay here forever - the taxes are too damn high. No only does California have the highest income tax in the US, but they tax capital gains as income - which is total horse shit. I doubt we'll be retiring here.
We'll probably move to a lower tax state for retirement and maybe split our time between the US and Europe - likely Paris. Maybe get a place in Paris or Neuilly and rent it as an Airbnb when we're in the US. We're on the 5-10 year plan. We'll see how things go.
If EE is still around, wouldn't it be funny if we hung out together years down the road after that botched Stolly's GTG?

The NoblemanI dunno about PB not being a place to raise a family, my cousin Marie is raising her's just fine there (her and hubby are both school teachers). Neuilly is boring, get something within Paris. My San Diego buddy (who's French), recently bought his first income property, in the 15th district of Paris (he's doing long term rentals via a local rental agency).
I went back to Stolli's last week, found a half-full pack of rolling tobacco, I was smoking for a week Huysmans-style. We should hang out there on your next trip, not in 5-10 years!

People do raise families in PB. It wasn't for me. As soon as we moved in, the owners of the house across the street moved out and made it a rental. Loud parties every Friday and Saturday night. The cops wouldn't do anything because it was PB. I'm the guy calling the cops on the coke and whore parties, and I was only in my 30's, but I'd never felt so old.
In the suburban community you're around other families and do drugs and alcohol with the other parents. I was around people my own age, and I was in the parties rather than complaining about them; moving to the suburbs made me feel young again. Plus, it's a lot safer, and the schools are a lot better.
Neuilly? Boring? I'll be pushing 60. Not sure I'll want a French fracas at my doorstep. Neuilly is still walkable to markets, cafes, etc., and Paris is right next door. We'll probably rent around first to see what we like.
Looks like we'll be back in Paris in early August. You going to be around for EE GTG #4?

I've never hung out in Neuilly...it's like La Jolla to me...There's nice and quiet residential areas all over Paris (14th, 15th, 13th, 7th, 6th, etc...), the fracas is esp. in central Paris...
Early August? Moi? Likely here the very 1st week, I often bail for 10 days sometime during the 2nd and 3rd weeks of the month. I'm usually in lovely Hendaye during this time (on the Spanish border and Atlantic coast), like Imperial Beach geographically, but without the crackaheads!

LA Glam is going on tour, seeing W13 in LA, Vegas, and SD.
Shania Twainsaw aint going to shit, he lives in the hills of the rockies or somewhere and will probably be recovering from a shank wound or a bad batch of confiscated pruno by then.
