Knocked out 10 clean pullups in a row last night.
How, you might ask? Mental toughness. I told myself I was gonna do 10, and that was that. I even counted down from ten, so I knew I wouldnt be done till I was done with 1. I will say my chin did not clear the bar on the final rep. But it was close. it was close.

So was that the sax player from Sheena Easton's band?
I remember back in the 80's when she did the music video for Lover in Me, which celebrated fit and healthy men and women. She then became the spokesperson for Bally Fitness.
Gee, pop music sure has evolved nicely since then!

Not only that, but if McCartney, Ringo, Dylan, etc comes out with a new album, IT IS LAW that it gets 5 stars, no matter how forgettable it is.

The Nobleman Why not do biceps on back day and triceps on chest day? shouldn’t you be doing compound movements instead of isolation?

Back/biceps and chest/triceps are good groupings, as well as the similarly-themed push/pull/leg.
I had some knee issues that I didn't think would get better in my fifties. They have slowly improved, so I've reintroduced barbell squats, deadlifts, and dumbbell lunges back into leg day. Not doing crazy weight on the squats and deadlifts, but it does feel good to be doing them again. I'm up to 30 lb. dumbbells on the lunges, which is where I was before the knee problems.

I went to the hotel fitness center this morning, after rocking all night, and worked on my fitness, as one in tip top shape does
They had an endless rope! I tried it and liked it.
Any of you fitness fanatics use the endless rope?

Any of you fitness fanatics use the endless rope? Is that the thing with the rope on the pulley you pull down on endlessly? And you can set the resistance?
If so, then yes, I did try that a few years back when I had a gym membership. But it pales in comparison to isolation through weights, so I didn't stick with it.
My objective is max ballerness, and I'm not gonna get that through pulling a rope.

Stupid.

I’m gonna buy a rope and attach it to the rafters in my garage. My goal is legless rope climbs. This is old school functional strength. The noble gentry would not attempt this.
I’m also proud to say I’ve outgrown my sandbag and will be purchasing a bigger one too
